Tonight the City council approved the appointment of Daniel Smith to the vacant council seat of Alan Doll, who was elected to the Gering School Board. I am excited to have Dan on the council as he brings fresh new viewpoint to the council.
Dan is the Scottsbluff Plant Manger of Kelley Bean. He currently is the co-chairperson of the Chamber's Agri-Business committee and is a member of the current Leadership Scotts Bluff class. He also is involved in Boy Scout's Troop 3 in Gering.
Dan and his wife Jackie live on Beverly Blvd, and have three children.
