More about Gering, Germany

Here are some additional pictures from the visit to the Village of Gering in Germany. It was a great experience as you can see. We exchanged gifts and met several of the people from the town.

Gering, Germany is 750 years old and has 425 residents. Gering, Nebraska may be bigger, but Gering, Germany is a lot older, about 530 years.

In the top picture I was given a copy of an article that appeared in a local newpaper about Gering, NE centennial. It is in German, but had pictures of our area.

I hope Walter Pries the mayor will come and visit us!
